A Fairytale Greenhouse Wedding
Hannah & Brendan’s wedding was the celebration of a romance as perfect as a fairytale! When they reached out to us to help plan and design wedding, we could tell from the first moment how in love with each other they were! They wanted to incorporate some of their favorite things into their wedding day and make sure all of their guests would have something to enjoy!
For their wedding design, we brought in whimsical, floral textures and soft but rich colors. With pops of purple, mauve, and sage green, we drew inspiration from fairytales and fantastical worlds to bring their wedding to life. Take a peek at some of our favorite moments of the day below captured by the incredible Pepper Nix Photography!
The Ceremony
As Hannah & Brendan planned their ceremony they wanted to create a few memorable, musical moments. As a composer, Brendan created an original composition for Hannah to walk down the aisle to. String FX, our wonderful musical trio, began playing the piece right as Hannah began the walk down the aisle with her father. The piece, titled “Hand in Hand”, was a stunning show of love from husband to wife.
Aside from this composition, Hannah and Brendan wanted to include the young children in their lives (cousins, nieces, nephews, and the like) in their ceremony. While they opted for the traditional flower girls, they also invited all of the littles to do a special performance of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” accompanied by String FX. Between the original composition and this special performance, there was hardly a dry eye in the house!
The Greenhouse
After the ceremony, our guests and couple headed into La Caille’s greenhouse for a delicious dinner from Magleby’s Catering! La Caille’s space provided the perfect backdrop for the bulk of the evening with their space full of trees and greenery. We opted for a traditional ivory base on our tables accented with mauves, greens, and purples to accent the stunning interior of the space.
The Cake
Wedding cake is a tradition most couples want, but Hannah & Brendan wanted to break the mold here! They aren’t “cake people”, so we chose to do a baked Alaska wedding cake to better fit their dessert palettes! Cake by Alessandra created a neapolitan-based dessert topped with the most delicious meringue. Our sweet couple still got their classic cake cutting experience, while having a dessert that was more fitting for their tastes and personalities!
The Food
Hannah & Brendan went to Magelby’s catering with the hope to have a traditional dinner before bringing in more fun food options later in the evening. After guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, they were treated to mocktails, a s’mores bar, and the most delicious burgers and sides. Their menu was the perfect combination of classic and fun!
The Fun
There were so many moments of pure fun throughout their wedding! Aside from the fun that you’ve seen sprinkled from their day so far, Hannah & Brendan brought in a bounce house for children and adults alike to enjoy! They added in the “Shoelywed Game” to help guests see their relationship a little more and, not surprising at all, it was funny, entertaining, and so sweet!
The Dancing
As the sun started to set, guests headed back into the greenhouse to dance the night away! The couple opened the dance floor with their first dance together, a custom arrangement of “You Matter to Me” by Sara Bareilles. After our couple danced with their parents, DJ Allurish played the perfect blend of classic and trendy songs to keep the dance floor packed all night! Our guests joined the couple in the Hora as a nod to the bride’s Jewish heritage; a beautiful display of love and support for Hannah & Brendan.
The Send-Off
As the night came to an end, our guests lined up outside for a sparkler send-off while Hannah & Brendan shared one last dance together as newlyweds.
Hannah & Brendan’s day was full of the best memories and it was an honor for our team to plan and design their wedding! Mazel Tov to the newlyweds!
