Six Ways We Alter Our Process for Corporate Event Design + Planning
It’s no secret that we LOVE planning weddings! Most of our clients are couples looking to celebrate their big day in a bold and unique way. But we carry the same passion for planning weddings into the corporate events we plan! Today we’re going to take you through the six steps we use to plan a wedding and explain how we alter our process to create seamless and memorable corporate events.
Custom Design Proposal
Our first step for any event we plan is to come up with a proposal for your event’s unique needs. We get to know our customers well, so we can make sure every aspect of their event is well-thought and well-executed. Whether you’re planning an off-site team-building experience or are preparing for a shareholder meeting, we can help.
Once our team knows exactly what you expect from the event, we’ll create a proposal for you that includes color palettes, invitations, any decor needs, and more. You’ll get to review the proposal and suggest any necessary changes before we officially book anything.
Budget Management
After the proposal is accepted and signed, we get to planning! We know that managing budgets, especially on a corporate level, is important. We’ll work with your company to set reasonable financial goals so your event looks and costs how you want.
As part of budget management, we’ll provide detailed breakdowns of what each item will cost. when payments will be due, and coordinate with your finance team.
Vendor Recommendation
As experienced wedding planners, we have gotten to know many wonderful photographers, caterers, and event space owners around the country. Kaushay & Co. is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but we have traveled across the country to plan and coordinate events. We have a list of vendors we wholeheartedly recommend who will make your corporate event fun and memorable. If your event is taking place in a new-to-us area, we will work hard to ensure your vendors are the best at what they do.
Please note that travel and accommodation fees will apply for multi-day events and events requiring travel. To get a better estimate of our pricing, please send an inquiry here.

Contract Management
Planning and executing any large-scale event requires a lot of coordination between different vendors. But our job as your corporate event planners is to make that process as painless as possible for you! We’ll take over all communications with vendors. Any signatures or changes will come through our staff.
Timeline Creation
During our initial coordination meeting with you, we’ll ask you about the timeline for your event. If there are things that need to happen at a specific time on the day of your event (i.e., a speech from the CEO at 10 a.m.), we will make sure they are noted and added to the day-of timeline. We will make sure there is proper signage on the day of your event so your employees or coworkers know the outline for the day.

Day-of Execution
On the day of your big corporate event, members of the Kaushay and Co. team will be on-site to make sure that everything we planned for you goes off without a hitch. Our team is well-versed in dealing with the unexpected, so we have what it takes to solve problems on the go.
Depending on the scale of your event, the day of coordination you receive might not be all that different from our wedding day of coordination. Moving large groups of people from one space to another is something we love to do and do well! Smaller-scale corporate events will, of course, receive the same attention to detail as our weddings and large corporate events.
