Moody Outdoor Soiree
When Madelyn & Ian reached out to us to plan our wedding, they wanted to create a design that would look and feel just like them! We started designing their wedding by taking inspiration for their moody outdoor, summer soiree from the interior design of their home and the landscape of the private residence where the wedding would be hosted. From there, we added personal touches everywhere!
Madelyn & Ian’s home was full of deep, rich colors that inspired our color palette; rich emeralds, blues, pops of yellows and pink were included throughout their design. We took these colors and mixed them with exposed wood, smokey acrylic, and velvet to bring in a variety of textures that felt modern, clean, and organic. While some designers might find mixing so many colors and textures difficult, it was the perfect design for us to tackle and perfectly fit our signature style!
Outside of the design for the day, Madelyn & Ian included their close friends and family members throughout the wedding; as their officiant, giving readings during the ceremony, giving special toasts and participating in special dances. Even with a large guest count, we helped them create an intimate, touching environment from the moment guests arrived.
Near the end of the night, it was time to shift gears to a more fun party atmosphere! Madelyn & Ian supplied a variety of lights, sunglasses, feather boas, and even cutouts shaped like them to really liven up the dance floor!
