You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers!
In short, yes! Your venue coordinator is an invaluable resource, but they don’t handle everything! Your venue coordinator’s primary role is to coordinate the things that are directly related to your venue (think their included tables and chairs, in-house catering, and assisting you with your layout) and to protect their assets. If there are any aspects of your wedding that your venue doesn’t coordinate (which there should be!), a wedding planner will fill those gaps!
As your wedding planner, we take care of coordinating all of the vendors and needs you have both from your venue and from vendors outside of your venue. (Think reviewing contracts, constructing your timeline, designing your event, coordinating invitations, paper goods, floral, transportation, lodging, and so much more!) A great wedding will have your venue coordinator and wedding planner working together to make sure everything is taken care of.
We’ll answer your question with a few of our own! Are you someone that wants an easy planning experience? Do you want to enjoy your wedding day instead of worrying about all the details? Are you someone with a vision of what your wedding day looks like and how it feels? Do you want your wedding design to truly reflect you as a couple?
If you answered yes to these questions, then Kaushay & Co. might be the right fit for you! We focus on the experience of wedding planning just as much as we focus on the details of your wedding day and we take inspiration from your love story. We love working with couples who have a vision for their day and then ultimately trust us and their vendor team to create that vision!
Our favorite couples are those who trust professionals to do their job instead of micromanaging them, who want to make time during the planning process to focus on their relationship, and who want a hands-on planning experience. If you’re someone who wants your planner and designer to make every decision for you, we might not be the best fit. We believe in a truly collaborative experience where we, as the seasoned professionals, help you to make the best decisions for your style, your budget, and your relationship. We won’t make the decisions for you, but we’ll guide you in the right direction!
We sure do! At Kaushay & Co. we believe love is something to be celebrated, period! We would be thrilled to be part of your wedding day.
Just as every wedding is unique, every budget is unique. While we work with any size budget, our full service couples spend $500 – $800 per person for their wedding celebration. If you’re hoping to spend more or less than that on your wedding, we can work with you to create something beautiful and within your budget.
Keep in mind, while we can make magic happen, we are sometimes limited by budget constraints. As your designer and planner, we will work with you early on in the planning process to make sure the design we choose fits well within the budget you have! We recommend a minimum wedding investment of $40,000.00 to make the most of our month-of and partial planning experiences. We recommend a minimum wedding investment of $60,000 to make the most of our full service experience.
Every wedding is different and, as such, your needs may be different than someone else’s. With that in mind, our services have been crafted to fit just what you need. Plan on allocating 10% of your budget to Event Management Services or 15 – 20% of your budget for Full Service Planning and Design.
Take a look at our services to see which level of planning fits what you’re looking for. Then reach out and we can talk through the specifics of your wedding and prepare a proposal for you to review! On average, our couples invest between $3,000.00 and $11,000.00 with us depending on the preferred experience.
Kaushay & Co. is based in Utah, and the majority of the events we plan are based in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Utah County. But we are not homebodies. We love to travel and have planned events in Illinois, Iowa, North Carolina, and South Carolina. If you’ve got a destination in mind, we’re happy to join you! Inquire here and let us know what location has caught your eye.
*Travel and accommodation fees will be incurred for multi-day events and those requiring travel.
We do! While we are based in Utah, many of our couples come from out of state to celebrate with us. The bulk of our planning process takes place online. This allows us to work with clients from anywhere and still have a seamless planning experience.
If you are from out of state and getting married in Utah, we ask that you plan on at least 1 trip to Utah prior to your wedding for planning purposes.
This question is music to our ears! We especially love planning multi-day celebrations with our couples. Whether you’re wanting 1 day of celebrating or 4, we are happy to design and plan each of your wedding events.
Likewise, we have a soft spot for corporate and social events! We have experience planning festivals, galas, awards ceremonies, anniversary parties, birthday parties, baby showers and more. We’re more than happy to lend a professional touch to the process of your event!
We offer payment plans for each of our planning and coordination packages! A 50% deposit is required to reserve your day and the remaining balance is spread over two additional payments. Your final payment will be due 1 month before your event.
Our A La Carte Services are paid in two installments: an initial 50% deposit and a final payment.
If you choose our signature experience, you’ll work with our owner and Senior Planner Kaushay. If you choose one of our other service levels, your planner or coordinator will be assigned based on availability and personality! We prioritize pairing you with a planner who will best compliment the vibe of your wedding day and the planner who we know you’ll get along with best!
